The Ask
As brick-and-mortar retail struggled to rebuild foot traffic in the wake of COVID-19, Lands’ End needed copy that gave customers a compelling reason to shop in store again. My work spanned a wide range of campaigns and initiatives, two of which are highlighted below. The Lands’ End x Draper James collection was an exclusive collaboration with Reese Witherspoon’s clothing brand that paired high-profile buzz with limited-edition urgency, giving people a reason to visit their local store to see it in person. International Swimsuit Days was an annual April sale event designed to drive in-store traffic and help customers stock up on swimwear ahead of the season.
